GridTalkie Communications System

It was originally built to combat the (still somewhat) fail-prone SL Group IM system, which on multiple occasions has lead to communications breakdowns, and countless casualties.  The basic networking code was commissioned, but the in-world interface, and web-backend  login was written from scratch. Using HTTPrequest and a dynamic packet network, it enables users to across the SL Grid (and some 3rd party grids) to communicate in real-time.

In the two years it’s been in service, it has been adopted by groups ranging from Army RPers, SG Teams, Mafia Families, Gorean Tribes, and people just fed up w/ the conventional group IM system.  For more discriminating users, Private Networks are available for purchase, providing copy/transfer radios and your own radio frequencies, separated from the public network.
